At the Greenhouse Foundation, we know that our mission can only be achieved through strong partnerships with educators and influencers committed to empowering our children to adopt a green living lifestyle. Through our GreenHouse School Partnerships we team up with schools in disadvantaged areas that are committed to teaching children to “See” and “Live” green.

Our GreenGarden Education Program is divided into three specific modules: Teach Green; See Green; Live Green. Each module is designed to assist schools based on their current Green Education goals, projects and practices. All three modules include hands-on activities, storytelling, student presentations, and writing workshops designed to help children and their teachers better understand and appreciate the importance of protecting their environment and natural resources. As part of the GreenHouse School Partnership application process, our experts work with a prospective school to determine which module best suits its current needs.

All schools interested in becoming a GreenHouse School Partner are required to complete an application and undergo a “green” assessment and audit to ascertain eligibility. If accepted into the program, schools will have the opportunity to apply for Green Awards based on their current green education initiatives. Awards are given at the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level.
